Our Story

For over 45 years, New Hope Baptist Church has been a pillar of faith in the Pensacola community. Founded in 1981, our church has grown from a small fellowship of believers into a multigenerational family united by a passion for God's Word and a heart for the lost.

Under the leadership of Pastor Michael Carter, New Hope has seen remarkable growth — not just in numbers, but in spiritual depth and community impact. We operate a food pantry that serves over 200 families each month, partner with local schools, and send mission teams both domestically and internationally.

We believe the local church should be the most loving, welcoming, and Christ-centered place in any community. That's what we strive to be every single day.
