Our Story

Cedar Grove Chapel has been a part of the Montgomery community since 1952. Originally a small rural church on the outskirts of town, the city has grown around us — and so has our congregation and our mission.

Today, under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Samuel Mitchell, Cedar Grove Chapel is a thriving congregation of over 350 members with active children's, youth, and adult ministries. We're deeply involved in social justice initiatives, support a local after-school tutoring program, and maintain a free clothing closet for families in need.
